WAR IN UKRAINE

On February 24, 2022, the unlawful invasion of Ukraine by Russia began.

Since that day, the war has cost thousands of innocent lives, entire cities have been senselessly destroyed. Millions of people have been displaced from their homes and are now on the run.

In addition to the suffering of people, the suffering of animals in Ukraine is also immense. Many people had to leave their animals behind while fleeing, or they are no longer able to care for them due to the current situation.

At the beginning of the war, our focus was on evacuating people and animals. However, we now conduct spaying and neutering campaigns throughout Ukraine with our Ukrainian team of highly qualified veterinarians and a range of other specialized helpers. Our focus is on the front regions most affected by the war. This is done in collaboration with various Ukrainian and international partner organizations.
